A fast-growing vine prized for my glossy green foliage and spectacular display of pink buds that open to intensely fragrant white flowers. The presence of both bloom and bud throughout the flowering season (mid to late summer) gives me a wonderful bicolor effect. Train on a trellis to be a climber!

Size: Medium (6”)

Where I originate: China

Botanical Name: Trachelospermum Jasminoides

Nicknames: Star Jasmine, Confederate Jasmine, Chinese Jasmine, Southern Jasmine

Family: Apocynaceae

Favorite Hangout Spots: Bedroom and other well-lit rooms in your home.

Needs full sun to partial shade. A few hours of direct sun a day is ideal, full sun will help produce maximum flowers during the bloom season.

Regular watering is the best, about every 10-14 days. Keep a consistent schedule! If you live in a hot climate, consider watering a bit more frequently.

Adapts well to both hot and cold temperatures, ideal is 60-75°.

No extra care needed, normal humidity is okay.

Use a well-drained soil. Does not need any extra fertilizer, a bit of organic compost once in winter can help with growth.

Safe and non-toxic for all pets. One of the most pet friendly plants all around!

This is one of the best plants for the bedroom! It has a gentle, soothing effect on the body and mind.
