I'm the Monstera Deliciosa. I'm kind of weird yet incredibly trendy, the name Monstera actually means "strange" in Latin, but I think that's why people love me. My unique leaves are heart-shaped when they are young and transform with age into my iconic holes and notches pattern. I am low maintenance and quite resilient, if you get busy I'll forgive you if you occasionally forget to water me. My favorite thing about myself is that my large leaves covert CO2 into oxygen during the day to provide you with healthy, clean air.
Difficulty Level: low maintenance and easy to care for
Light Needed: low to bright, indirect light
Water: water when the top of the soil dries
Plant Traits: low light, air purifying, easy indoor plant, reduces stress
If you're looking for a bold and trendy houseplant, this is the one for you. It is a tropical vining plant that can get quite large and spread itself dramatically 2' wide in your home. Since they can grow quite large, find an open space in your home to make a statement. The big and bold green leaves will iconically split and create holes and notches in the mature leaves. While the word Monstera means "strange" in Latin, the deliciosa part of the name comes from the pineapple-like fruit it will bloom in it's natural habitat (but you won't see any of this in your home, unfortunately). It is easy to care for and great for beginners with plants. This plant is a great air purifying as it converts CO2 into oxygen during the day.

BIODEGRADABLE GROW POT
Our biodegradable grow pots are made of 50% sphagnum peat, wood fiber and lime to adjust the pH. The peat content provides a combination of superior root penetration, good drainage and aeration whilst the wood fibers strengthen the pot.
Designed for easy transplant. They are 100% compostable and approved for organic production. Simply place the entire biodegradable pot into your planter and the roots of your plant will soon grow through and decompose the pot.
ECO-FRIENDLY ROOT POUCH
Our recycled & semi-degradable eco-friendly fabric bags are made from a mix all natural fibers and recycled plastic water bottles saved from landfills. The breathable fabric allows for your plants to stay cool in the summer and provides good drainage to avoid overwatering. They provide a healthy environment for your plant to grow by pruning the roots and creating dense, healthy root structures.
These fabric bags are washable and recyclable. It will take 1-2 years for the bags to semi degrade. Use your fabric bag as a decorative planter and remove from the bag when it is time to repot. This planter is designed by Root Pouch.

Give the plant bright indirect light. Low light is tolerable, but some indirect light is best. Direct light might cause the leaves to turn yellow.
Water about once a week with a nice, even watering to get the soil moist. Reduce watering in cooler months. Wait until the soil is fairly dry to water again.
This plants ideal temperature is 65°F-85°F. Try not to put the plant in an environment below 60°F. The monstera can tolerate normal houseplants humidity, but try to keep it in a fairly humid environment. Mist the leaves to boost moisture in the air.
This plant can grow up to 65' in the height in it's native conditions, but typically grow to about 2'-3' indoors. Feed this plant once a month from spring-summer to encourage growth. Do not give any fertilizer in the wintertime.
Repot the plant once a year in early spring to encourage new growth and provide fresh, nutritious soil before the growing season. Choose a pot one size larger and repot using a well-draining soil, providing a deep watering right after repotting.
Choose a stem cutting that has multiple nodes and place in water. Keep in a bright location and change the water frequently. When the roots grow to be about 2" long, repot into fresh potting soil.
This plant is toxic to pets and humans and may cause oral irritation, vomiting, and difficulty in swallowing if ingested.
Very impressed with the quality of the plant. No brown or yellow spots, full leaves, and LOTS of leaves. It continues to thrive, so I know it arrived very healthy. This is exactly the plant I would pick out myself!
Their plants were beautiful 😍
The plant was very healthy but not as big as the picture on the website so I feel I paid too much for the plant due to the size I received.
